Lauren graduated with a Bachelors Degree from the University of California, Berkeley with a minor in Premed and a major in Visual Studies from the College of Environmental Design.

Lauren also specializes in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture and is passionate about creating authentic beauty from the inside out. She uses very fine acupuncture needles along with applying all natural organic skin care products with essential oils to increase the balance of Qi and Blood to the face. This is an ideal, holistic anti-aging medicine. Lauren has studied with 2 of the pioneer teachers in the field, Dr. Martha Lucas, Ph.D, L.Ac., who developed the Mei Zen technique and Virginia Doran, MSL.Ac., LMT.
Lauren is committed to guiding people in their healing process, bringing balance back into their lives through education in the value of healthy lifestyle and nutrition. She works with people on a personal level addressing their needs not only on a physical level, but also on a mental, emotional and spiritual level. She has a small, certified therapy dog that is available upon request when working with children, seniors and others new to acupuncture to enhance their healing experience.
When not working, Lauren is spending quality time with her 2 daughters, ages 11 and 13 and their array of animal companions. She is a Girl Scout co-leader which takes her on many outdoor adventures. She enjoys yoga and bike-riding around beautiful places in St. Helena. |
